The beautiful weather & the sunshine are here. Not only does thing bring us plenty of outdoor fun, but it inspires a lot of spring & summertime crafts.
Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. They are so bright & sunny and cheerful. For our craft we just needed a few things.
What you will need:
Paper bowl
Pasta shells
Dried beans or lentils
Acrylic paint
Glue
A wooden skewer
Construction paper
Directions:
Color your beans with brown food coloring or paint in a plastic bag. Lay out on wax paper to dry.
Do the same with the pasta shells using yellow paint or food coloring.
Paint your paper bowl in yellow & let dry.
Put glue on the center portion of the bowl & add the beans.
Apply a ring of glue around the outer edge of your bowl & add your colored pasta pointed side out.
Paint a wooden skewer in green & let dry. Glue it to the back of your bowl at the top edge & bottom,
Add leaves made out of construction paper.

Such a cute idea! I love this. I will definitely have to try it with my little guy 🙂
Thank you. Enjoy! 🙂
This is so cute and my older daughter just saw this and told me that they planted sunflowers at school today. So, totally the season! 😉
