We paint a lot in our home. My daughter loves pulling a chair up next to me and painting pictures together. What my daughter seems to enjoy the most is actually squeezing the paint out. She will squeeze bottle after bottle of paint out onto our palettes. Most times I will scrape all the leftover paint back into their containers to try to salvage them.

So this art project for perfect for my little girl. She can squeeze her little heart away. This can get messy, so you might want to put your canvas on some newspaper or in our case cardboard.

Squeeze out dabs of paint all around the canvas. My daughter was not shy with the paint.

Place a few pieces of Saran Wrap over your canvas. One piece could tear, so the extra pieces offer reinforcement. Squeeze, squish & slide the Saran Wrap around the canvas.

When my daughter liked the coverage on her canvas, she told me “Okay, okay, okay, it’s done, mama.” She peeled off her wrap to reveal her painting. It came out great. We set it aside to dry.

The Saran wrap creates wonderful peaks & lines with the paint & added another lovely abstract painting to our collection.
