My daughter loves that mischievous cat and all thing Dr. Seuss, so I thought that this simple yarn wrapped Cat in the Hat inspired hat would be perfect.
Resist painting is a great way to create an interesting piece of artwork. It is perfect for any age level. My daughter was not yet 2 when she made her first resist painting out of Cool Whip paints.
My 4 year old loves to play with yarn. Many of our favorite activities and crafts are wrapped or threaded with yarn. We made lovely yarn wrapped hearts earlier this year & my daughter loved it.
She loves the yarn because she loves to unravel & cut it and I love it because it is great for her fine motor skills.
