Nature Hearts Art

If you heart nature and nature crafts like we do, you will surely love these gorgeous nature hearts.

My daughter and I love the outdoors. Being outside is therapy for the mind and for the body. Nothing brings me greater joy than watching my little girl running, playing and splashing outside. There is one thing that we love almost as much as being out in the nature and that is making nature crafts. In fact, we cannot go on a hike or walk without my daughter gathering rocks or acorns or pine cones for arts and craft projects. She has nature collections scattered everywhere. What better way for us to show our love for nature than with these beautiful nature hearts?

Cork Train Craft

Simple Cork train craft - easy diy project. Cute and perfect for Christmas or for a kid's room. Easy arts and crafts projects

When you do arts and crafts as much as we do, friends and family will randomly give you materials that they think that you can craft with. I recently inherited a large jar of corks from my mother-in-law. We dug into them once already to make carolers for Christmas and then last night after watching the ‘Polar Express’, I dug into them once more to make a train.

Nature Crafting With Clay

I am beginning to think more and more that my four year old and my husband are the real writers of this blog, especially my little girl. She has been coming up with so many amazing ideas on her own lately, that I cannot help but beam with pride. Both of the crafts here today are inspired by my crafty clan.

Nature and clay fairy crafts. This adorable craft was made with acorns, sticks and leaves. Salt Dough would work too. Kid's arts and crafts. - preschoolers

My husband had a great idea to build log cabins out of sticks. I thought this would be a fun project for me and my daughter. We grabbed a box and set out to gather supplies, which as you know is always half of the fun. We gathered sticks and my daughter also grabbed a few acorns and rocks that she found.

Stained Glass Snowman

Stained Glass Snowman Painting - Winter & Christmas crafts for kids

This was our last week in our home. Our new house will be under construction for the next 5 weeks & we will be living with my husband’s aunt while we wait for the completion of our new home. Life has been chaotic & a lot of things have had us in limbo these past few weeks. Even with all that has been going on, we still managed to squeeze in a few crafts in between packing & moving. We were all about snowmen this week. We made acorn snowmen the other night & kept it going with one more quick snowman craft.

Play-Doh Nature Craft

PlaydohNatureCradt.jpg

It was not the nicest weekend. Most of my outdoor plans were thwarted by soggy grass & too many bugs. We planned to go to the local kid gymnasium, but when we got there they never opened. Instead, we went to one of our favorite places, the library. We love the library. With all three of us being such avid readers, we would bankrupt ourselves buying new books. The library offers us an unlimited supply of great reads for each of us.
