Every Wednesday, my daughter and I have a wonderful routine of going to the library together. We will spend an hour or sometimes two exploring the books and looking for new favorites.

My daughter loves all kinds of books, but her favorites are always the ones that make her laugh. My silly girl loves a good chuckle and I love hearing her laugh.
When we find a silly one, the two of us love to get animated and add as much extra fun to an already silly book as we can. We have come across a lot of funny ones, but here are some of our favorite laugh inducing books.
The Book With No Pictures by B.J. Novak
B.J Novak aka Ryan from TV’s The Office wrote this hysterical book, which just like its name says, has no pictures. The lack of pictures will not stop your children from belly laughing all the way through this one.
Frog on a Log by Kes Gray
This funny rhyming tale is about a frog that is told his only option for seating is to sit on a log. Find out why.
Rhyming Dust Bunnies by Jan Thomas
These dust bunnies have a great gift for rhyme. Now if only they can avoid the broom and vacuum.
Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast by Josh Funk
This adorably silly story follows Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast’s race through the refrigerator to grab the last bit of syrup. Who will get the last bit of syrup?

The Pigeon Needs A Bath by Mo Willems
Any of the Pigeon books will do. They are all hilarious, but if you have a child that does not like to take a bath, this is the perfect book for them.
