Our daughter has gotten to the age where she is beginning to understand the joy in giving other people gifts. She loves to draw and paint special pictures for us at home and she has a collection of them that she made for her friends. With Easter coming, I thought we could make mini Dixie cup Easter baskets for some of her friends with just a few little treats inside.
What you will need:
3 oz Dixie cups
Paint
Construction paper or foam pieces
Yarn
Hot glue (for adult use only)
Directions:
Paint your Dixie cups in pastel colors. Add diagonal lines if you would like to add a more basket look to them.
Set your cups aside to let dry.
Cut strips out of construction paper or foam about 5 1/2″ long. We use foam for sturdier construction.

Glue the strip to the outside of each side of your cup to form a handle.
Form small bows with yarn & glue to the front of your cup.
Let the glue dry & fill your baskets with Easter grass & a few Easter treats.

Thank you as always for stopping by. Please follow us on Facebook as well.

Oh my, I love this idea! Too cute!
Thank you very much. 🙂
Love those Easter baskets and am so happy I have my Easter Peeps Cake recipe that I could link up this weekend for the spring theme. And by the way, we too got snow yesterday. Just so thankful that most of it melted once the sun came out today. But seriously so done with snow and so ready for spring already!
Thank you Janine. Thank you for linking up with us. 🙂 Yup, we snowed yesterday & today. Yuck! Where is my nice weather?
These are cute! I might make these using k-cups!
Thank you. I would love to see those with k-cups. 🙂
Very cute idea 🙂 BTW… do you have the code for the badge? I have no idea how to copy it and paste it without the code! 🙁 Hope you have some nicer weather soon!
Thank you and glad you found the code OK. Thank you for sharing it and joining us.
