When you do arts and crafts as much as we do, friends and family will randomly give you materials that they think that you can craft with. I recently inherited a large jar of corks from my mother-in-law. We dug into them once already to make carolers for Christmas and then last night after watching the ‘Polar Express’, I dug into them once more to make a train.

Holly and Mistletoe Arts and Crafts
My daughter and I had a lazy pajama day yesterday. We starting baking for our annual gingerbread project and we painted, crafted and drew. We made a lot of mess, but had a lot of fun.

Owls are all the rage these days. I have noticed them popping up everywhere lately. As a longtime lover of these soulful creatures, I am happy to see this.
