Printable Snowflake Coloring Page
My five-year old loves to color. Last year she pushed aside her coloring books and dove into my adult coloring books and that is all that she will color now. She spends days working diligently on every small detail of the page that she is working on and does a beautiful job. My daughter’s love for coloring, inspired me to try my hand at making my first coloring page. For a first attempt, it is not perfect, but my little one and I both enjoyed it. Wax Paper Dragonfly Craft
You can make this wax paper dragonfly as a hanging craft or glue it to a piece of paper, either way the result is lovely.
We love crafting with wax paper. It’s transparency and delicate texture make a wonderful canvas for painting and for stained glass tissue paper projects. Because of its transparent and delicate nature, it also makes it the perfect material for making insect wings. Dragonflies are one of our favorite insects. With summer here, they have been out in full force in our yard. They are so beautiful and my daughter and I love to watch them. These gorgeous creatures inspired our latest project. We have provided a printable template for your convenience.

Button Toucan
Button crafts are so much fun. My daughter loves them & I love them too. My daughter just got a new shirt for the summer with a colorful toucan on the front. This has quickly become her favorite shirt. Her toucan shirt became the inspiration for our latest button craft.
I drew out a toucan & cut the body out of black foam. Attached is a free printable for your convenience.
I glued the black foam onto the drawing.
I glued one large googly eye to the head & used orange marker to draw in the legs.
I glued brightly colored buttons in different sizes and shapes onto the beak. I used large buttons on the bottom & layered them with smaller buttons to define the lines.
This is a fun craft for the little kids, big kids or adults alike.

Free Fill-In Mother’s Day Poem
Mother’s Day is only a few weeks away. There are many things that us mother’s could get on Mother’s Day, a day at the spa, flowers, maybe jewelry or chocolates or perhaps just some time to take a much deserved nap. My favorite part of the day will still be to cuddle up with the ones that made me a mother in the first place.
My daughter & I had a little question and answer session that we turned into a customizable poem that I thought that you all might enjoy.
