We had so much fun with our last interactive bee craft, that we wanted to keep the interactive crafts going. This paper plate hopping bunny craft is perfect for Easter or just for the spring. Draw your own bunny or use one of our free printable bunnies. One was created by me and the other by my 8 year old daughter, who was so excited about this craft that she wanted to make her own.
It has been an exciting couple of weeks. We have had a few readings of our book ‘Farmer Pete has Stinky Feet’ at schools and at our local library. The kids have been amazing and so much fun throughout the process. They have asked a ton of adorable questions and made me glow with the cutest and sweetest comments. We set up a craft table for the kids at the reading event at the library. I also made a couple of coloring pages taken from my book. They all dove in and enjoyed both the craft and the coloring pages. I wanted to share those coloring pages with all of you. The kiddos really got a kick out of these. I hope that you do too.

Crafts in motion are so much fun. First, you get to enjoy making the craft and then you get the added bonus of playing with it after. We have made crafts that bobble, some that pop-up and even ones that play winter sports. Spring is just a couple of weeks away and it is the perfect time to fly a kite.
Who else is ready for the spring? I know that we are. If you are looking for a touch of spring to brighten up your day, this fluttering butterfly craft might be just what you are looking for. Your kids will love designing and making their butterflies and them watching them flutter and fly.

My five year old is an aspiring hockey star. She loves it on the ice and I love watching her. An old photo of her on skates inspired this paper plate ice skater craft. If you are looking for a cute and sweet winter project, don’t look any further. These adorable ice skaters are a fun winter craft with an interactive twist. Your kids will love coloring in the printable templates. They can add their own faces or draw in ones of their own design.
My five-year old loves to color. Last year she pushed aside her coloring books and dove into my adult coloring books and that is all that she will color now. She spends days working diligently on every small detail of the page that she is working on and does a beautiful job. My daughter’s love for coloring, inspired me to try my hand at making my first coloring page. For a first attempt, it is not perfect, but my little one and I both enjoyed it. You can make this wax paper dragonfly as a hanging craft or glue it to a piece of paper, either way the result is lovely.
We love crafting with wax paper. It’s transparency and delicate texture make a wonderful canvas for painting and for stained glass tissue paper projects. Because of its transparent and delicate nature, it also makes it the perfect material for making insect wings. Dragonflies are one of our favorite insects. With summer here, they have been out in full force in our yard. They are so beautiful and my daughter and I love to watch them. These gorgeous creatures inspired our latest project. We have provided a printable template for your convenience.
Paper mosaics are a simple and easy craft for all ages. This ice cream cone mosaic is a great project for the summer.
