February is almost here. With February comes thoughts of love, cupids, hearts & arrows. Valentine’s Day is a time to show your mate how much you love & appreciate them. When you’re parents, it is not always easy to fit the romance in, but here are a few simple steps to make it a memorable & romantic day for your sweetheart.
Step 1. Take a shower – I realize we should be doing this the other 364 days a year, but surprisingly enough this does not always happen as much as we would like. Since you are in the shower already, it probably wouldn’t kill you to shave those legs of yours.
Step 2. Leave your granny panties in the drawer & trade them in for a pair of your sexiest undies. Since it is a special occasion break out your good sweats. You want to impress your man after all.
Step 3. Make him his favorite meal of a slab of meat wrapped in bacon & topped with bacon.
Step 4. Let him watch Sport Center instead of Doc McStuffins.
Step 5. Whisper to your husband those words that he loves to hear. “Honey, I will put the kid/kids to bed tonight.”
Step 6. Pour your husband a tall beer in his favorite Best Daddy mug.
Step 7. Give your guy a back rub for more than 30 seconds. You are not allowed to complain, whine or let out any bored sighs. Do it with a smile.
Step 8. Dim the lights, strip off your sweatpants & do what you both have been thinking about doing all day. .. fall asleep.
Don’t worry tomorrow, you can break out the granny panties again.
