We had so much fun with our last interactive bee craft, that we wanted to keep the interactive crafts going. This paper plate hopping bunny craft is perfect for Easter or just for the spring. Draw your own bunny or use one of our free printable bunnies. One was created by me and the other by my 8 year old daughter, who was so excited about this craft that she wanted to make her own.
We are already a few days into spring and we couldn’t be happier. We have been spending a lot of time outdoors and can’t wait to see all of our springtime blooms. When discussing with my little one what would be a good craft to make for the spring, she suggested this. We do a lot of interactive crafts and she thought it would be cute to make a bumble bee flying from flower to flower. She was right. We think this paper plate bumble bee craft came out absolutely adorable. Thanks little miss for the great idea.
What is cuter than a waddling little penguin? I can’t think of too many things. With the cold weather moving in, we are starting to look towards our winter crafts and we just love this interactive little guy. This adorable paper plate waddling penguin will surely delight your little ones, while they craft and then play. A free printable penguin template is available below.
If you are anything like me, you probably have a collection of empty cardboard tubes laying around in a bin somewhere just waiting to be turned into a fun craft. If this sounds like you, then you are in luck! These pop-up animal puppets are adorable and fun to play with.
Free printable animals are included.
This week I am lucky enough to be directing the arts and crafts portion of our town’s summer camp. I have a group of fun and creative campers that are a joy to work with. While playing around with different materials and ideas today we came up with this flying fairy in a jar craft. I was so excited at how adorable they came out that I had to share it with all of you.
This craft is an ode to our pet betta fish Luna. It was not her birthday or anything, but my daughter insisted over weekend that we needed to make something to celebrate our Luna. So here it is!! This cute and interactive paper plate swimming fish craft is dedicated to her. A free printable template is available for your convenience.
Crafts in motion are so much fun. First, you get to enjoy making the craft and then you get the added bonus of playing with it after. We have made crafts that bobble, some that pop-up and even ones that play winter sports. Spring is just a couple of weeks away and it is the perfect time to fly a kite.
A couple of days ago we made a paper plate ice skating craft. It was a huge hit with our audience, but an even bigger hit with my little girl. She couldn’t get enough of it. She loved making the skater move around the “ice”(paper plate). Almost as soon as we finished making it, she said “I know what we can do next. We need to make a skiing craft.” She was so excited about this that she could not wait, so together we brainstormed and came up with this adorable snowman skier.
My five year old is an aspiring hockey star. She loves it on the ice and I love watching her. An old photo of her on skates inspired this paper plate ice skater craft. If you are looking for a cute and sweet winter project, don’t look any further. These adorable ice skaters are a fun winter craft with an interactive twist. Your kids will love coloring in the printable templates. They can add their own faces or draw in ones of their own design.
